One reason why I moved to Manhattan Beach - The Dune!

The Sand dunes have been a very important part of my life for the past 37 years.  In the last 3 years I have finally become a Manhattan Beach resident.  When I purchased my home 3 years ago, one of the residual values outside of living next to the beach that pushed me to invest in the area is “The Sand Dunes.”  I used to frequent the place as a child with my parents and now I frequent the place with my son. I believe the City Council’s duties are to protect and support long standing assets in any neighborhood they govern.  If an issue is to arise in regards to any historical site, I believe it’s the Councils duties to mitigate the issue with the two opposing parties NOT eliminate it. There is always room for “fair” in any negotiation.  Regardless of the differences on either side. Please use the talent you all have individually within the Council to work out the issues amicably so we all walk away feeling a fair resolve is in place for the sand dunes.   I would hope my son is able to take his children to the sand dunes in the future. Sincerely, Shawn Papazian
