The people of Manhattan Beach have enjoyed recreational activities on the dune at Sand Dune Park for over 40 years. We request that the Manhattan Beach City Council reopen the sand dune as soon as it is practical for children and adults for the purposes of peaceful exercise and play.

Reasonable limitations may be placed on the dune to prevent use by professional trainers and exercise classes; to substantially mitigate noise problems in the early morning and evening hours; and to effectively manage and reduce usage during peak times.
